Almond
Almond has been spared: SEE MORE LABRADORS HERE! Her rescue notes are at the bottom of the page...

This sweet senior Yellow Lab cross desperately needs help.  She does not have much time, and will be gassed.  She is very sweet, and doesn't deserve to die lonely in the pound without having been able to live out her golden years.

Her write-up is as follows:

"This wonderful senior gal is now without a home due to no fault of her own. Her owner is very ill and cannot take care of her. Family members would like her to go to a good loving home as she is a sweetheart. She is 11 years old and would love to live the next several years as your companion with long walks and relaxing on the floor, maybe in front of a fireplace when the days are cool. Please find it in your heart to give this special girl a good home. She is at the Holmes County Dog Pound and is in Cage # 6. Time is limited as the kennels continue to fill daily! Please hurry!"

Someone is available to pull.  Please write to documentdesign@yahoo.com for information on pulling, if you are not located in Ohio or near the pound.

RESCUE: Per Joe Patterson at the Holmes County Pound, this pup was given to a gentleman who knew and loved her before her senior caretaker passed away. Given the opportunity to take her, he did -- but she doesn't yet recognize her new home so left, perhaps looking for her longtime friend, and landed at the pound. Joe recognized her and did the RESEARCH [thank you caring dog people] and identified the new owner, returning her to him.
