Keep your cat inside. Outdoors, cats become lost or be stolen, injured or killed. Cats who are allowed to stray are exposed to fatal infectious diseases, including rabies. Also, cats prey on wildlife.   PETS OF THE WEEK August 28, 2004 - September 3, 2004   2408 - Mix Lab/setter, 5 months old, male, “Boomer”, outside dog     2412 - Mix lab/setter, 5 months old, male, “Beamer”, outside dog 2413 - Mix setter, male, stray     2414 - Mix shepherd/chow, male, stray   2417 - Mix bull terrier, female, stray     2419- Mix beagle/dachshund, female, stray   2420 - Mix sheltie, female, stray   2421 - Mix lab, female, stray 2422 - Kitten, stray   2423 - 2 gray kittens, stray 2424 - Kitten, stray   ANIMAL CARE & CONTROL HOURS: Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Adoptions will be handled from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. only.
