We need more foster homes!

Won't someone please love me like my mom did? She got too old and too sick and couldn't keep me, but she really wanted me to have a good home so she gave me to Rogers' Rescues...but no one seems to want me....I'm lucky enough to have 2 foster homes, but all I really want is a permanent forever home of my own. I really miss staying in one place! Won't you come and meet me and fall in love and take me home?

Dice is an older gentleman and quite a character who has been with us for a very long time. He loves to go for walks and get his face carressed! When you carress him he makes little grunts of joy! We suspect at some point he was hit on the head by someone because if he doesn't know a person and they go to pet him on his head, he flinches and squints his eyes.

Dice is completely housebroken and he adjusts to new surroundings quite easily. He is now spliting his time between two foster homes on the same street. This situation was due to a tragic turn of events for one family who loves him so much and doesn't have the heart to turn this sweet boy away. Because of this, we have had an opportunity to test him in different settings. His habits change with his surroundings so we think he will become accustomed to almost any new routine. For instance, with one of his foster moms he insists on leash walking, (there is no fenced in yard). He loves interacting with people and just sniffing around when he goes for walks! With his other foster mom, he is content to spend some time in a fenced yard to take his potty breaks. He lies on a doggie bed if he is in the kitchen, and he sleeps on the couch if he is in the living room. He is so smart and knows exactly who he can "con" and who he can't! A firm tone tells this guy who is boss!

Dice is good boy who deserves to live the rest of his days with someone who can give him all the lovin' he deserves. When you look into those soulful eyes they seem to say "When am I going home?".
