local small-town pound took in a stray dog, black,
medium-sized, looks exactly like a black ACD. VERY pregnant.
She was not claimed, and was taken to the vet (who is my vet) to
be euthanized. They called me. She had 7 pups: 5 males, 2
females. 1 Chocolate, 6 black. Some are solid black, some
black and tan, a few with white splashes on their chests. They
will be 10 weeks old on Saturday. They are all sp/neutered, will
have their 2nd set of vaccinations on Friday (when their sp/neuter
stitches come out) and have been wormed twice with Panacur
and once with Albon for coccidia. They are, of course, adorable.
I need to get them placed if anyone has room for them. Their vet
costs were very reasonable; if a rescue takes them, I would just
like to be reimbursed for the actual cost.
I don't know what the father was, of course, but mom only weighs
about 35 pounds. The largest pup weighs 9 pounds at present,
the smallest about 6 pounds.
If anyone has space for any of them, please let me know. I am
located in Birch Tree, MO (about 125 miles southeast of
Springfield.)

spay/neutering, and all vax, including Rabies. Non-profit groups must fax
their info to Rutherford Co. Animal Control at:#828-287-6373, for
no-fee pulls. And, for help with pulling/getting vetted, please contact
