Found Dalmatian in Savannah, Georgia
On Sept. 1, 2004, I found a female Dalmatian wandering in my front yard.  Strays are very uncommon in this part of Savannah.  She had on a flea collar only and was in bad shape; malnourished and heavily infested with fleas.  I would like to find her owners, so far I have had no luck.  She is a very sweet girl and deserves a good home.  Please e-mail me if anyone knows where she belongs.

Thanks.

I was found on Feb.3 2004 in Vernon Arizona, in Apache County.  I was pretty worn and tired.  No one knows my real name or how long I’d been lost. It may have been a very long time, The White Mt. Humane Society kept me for 2 months, they were running out of kennel space and a volunteer called a lady in Sedona at a canine halfway house and she came to pick me up in April.

She calls me Lilah.  I like it but it’s not my real name.  I have been fostering with her since I came to Sedona.  They have found people who want to adopt me but I really want to be back with my original owners.  I’m lost and I want to go home.  Please help me find my family that I miss so much.

I am very gentle, shy and skittish but like to be with the people I trust. I can sit and lift my paw and I love to be comforted with gentle hugs.  I’m afraid of men until I know them. The vet thinks I’m about 5-7 years old.

Please help spread my story through the White Mountains and Apache County and everywhere in case my family misses me as much as I miss them.  Please call or email Nadia Caillou at 928.204.1367  nadia@esedona.net if you think you might know anyone who might have lost me.

FOUND IN GEORGIA

Hello.  my husband and I found your website and would like some info.  We found a dog (rather, she found us) a couple of days ago wandering around our neighborhood - Grant Park next to the zoo.  She looks like a pitbull-mix, dark brown, really sweet and pretty.  She also looks like she had puppies recently but we can't be sure.  She's been hanging around here a few days so it can't be that recent.  Anyway, we can't keep her and want to do something for her.  Will you take a really sweet and lonely dog?

FOUND IN FLORIDA

A friend of mine, Kaite Knighthorse, ( papa@celticoaksappaloosas,com )
picked up a young rottie female who had been found by another family in
Levy County, FL about a week ago.  That family had posted flyers, and
were about to take her to the pound.

The Rottie appears to have been well taken care of as she is in good
weight with long toe-nails which indicated she was not roughing it for
long.  She is housebroken, sweet-tempered, and gets along well with my
friend's menagerie of dogs and cats.  She knows a few basic commands and
follows Kaite from room to room and likes to settle wherever she is.
Not overly clingy, just loving. Kaite says she appears to be typy and a
well bred Rottweiler.  Kaite also said she looks like she may have had a
litter in the distant past.

We were concerned that this dog may have been stolen and dumped
somewhere since she is so well socialized.  On the other hand she does
seem to have the ability to open doors and let herself out! Kaite is
going to try to see if she is chipped tomorrow.

I was hoping that this could be cross-posted to any Rottie rescue lists
or lost lists since I am mostly on the Dal rescue lists.

If you can help foster or place this Rottie, please contact Kaite
directly at papa@celticoaksappaloosas,com rather than myself or the
list.  Thank you,  Jen

Hi Nancy,

We have found a miniature Doberman Pincher, that
obviously belongs to someone.  It was found in the
parking lot of a Ryan's Restaurant in Roanoke
Rapids, NC.  Could you please send out a plea to
help find it's owners. Thanks, Nancy
