Found Dalmatian in
Savannah, Georgia On Sept. 1, 2004, I found a female Dalmatian wandering in my front yard. Strays are very uncommon in this part of Savannah. She had on a flea collar only and was in bad shape; malnourished and heavily infested with fleas. I would like to find her owners, so far I have had no luck. She is a very sweet girl and deserves a good home. Please e-mail me if anyone knows where she belongs. hellcat2424@yahoo.com Thanks. |
FOUND IN FLORIDA
A friend of mine, Kaite Knighthorse, (
papa@celticoaksappaloosas,com
)
picked up a young rottie female who had been found by another family in
Levy County, FL about a week ago. That family had posted flyers, and
were about to take her to the pound.
The Rottie appears to have been well taken care of as she is in good
weight with long toe-nails which indicated she was not roughing it for
long. She is housebroken, sweet-tempered, and gets along well with my
friend's menagerie of dogs and cats. She knows a few basic commands and
follows Kaite from room to room and likes to settle wherever she is.
Not overly clingy, just loving. Kaite says she appears to be typy and a
well bred Rottweiler. Kaite also said she looks like she may have had a
litter in the distant past.
We were concerned that this dog may have been stolen and dumped
somewhere since she is so well socialized. On the other hand she does
seem to have the ability to open doors and let herself out! Kaite is
going to try to see if she is chipped tomorrow.
I was hoping that this could be cross-posted to any Rottie rescue lists
or lost lists since I am mostly on the Dal rescue lists.
If you can help foster or place this Rottie, please contact Kaite
directly at
papa@celticoaksappaloosas,com rather than myself or the
list. Thank you, Jen

Hi Nancy,
We have found a miniature Doberman Pincher, that
obviously belongs to someone. It was found in the
parking lot of a Ryan's Restaurant in Roanoke
Rapids, NC. Could you please send out a plea to
help find it's owners. Thanks, Nancy
