This doxie was owner surrendered on 07/15. It is shelter policy to euthanize any OGUs with demodex. The owners said that a skin scrape had been done and this was the diagnosis however they could not afford treatment. This dog is in bad shape – virtually hairless, sagging to the ground with milk – but is the best girl. Quiet, calm, gentle. Little tartar on her teeth – best guess on age is 2 yrs.
Blk/tan doxie F; 2 yr; 15# - itchy, hair loss.
