Dear Friend,
A friend of my neighbor came to me, and brought this horrible situation to our
attention. A guy whom the neighbor's friend knows is going homeless. He said
that the guy is mentally unstable and is planning to take his two dogs to the
pound as early as the end of this week.
Our vets' kennels are full, so even though we'd like to take them in, there's no
room! Kimo can be fine alone or with anybody. Kurt is quite glued to Kimo, but
if she's separated from Kimo, with enough attention, she should survive. So
Ideally, they need an immediate foster that can keep them together, but
separating them is better than the pound. I've met them in person, and they are
really sweet!!! Kimo is well-trained even off leash. They'd make a great
family companion or someone's canine partner.
