Notes: Lacy was seized from a local puppy mill. She is in need of a foster home unitl the court date in Sept. She is very timid, and needs a very special foster. She is recovering from severe mange. The shelter is open from 11-4 Tues.-Fri. and 2-6 on Mondays. All cats/kits are $35.00 and all dogs/pups are $50.00.This fee includes 1st shot, wormer, spay/neuter, and ky. dog tag for dogs/pups. Kittens/pups will have a spay/neuter appointment made at time of adoption to be done at 6 months of age. All adult dogs/cats 6 months and up MUST be spayed/neutered BEFORE leaving the shelter. ALL SHELTER ANIMALS MUST BE SPAYED OR NEUTERED EITHER BEFORE LEAVING OR AT 6 MONTHS OF AGE IF TOO YOUNG AT TIME OF ADOPTION. There are ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS, PLEASE DON"T ASK!!! The shelter is in need of people with big hearts who love animals to become volunteers and/or fosters. All you need to do is come by and fill out an application. The rewards and experiencees are tremendous! The shelter also accepts donations in the form of sheets/blankets, cleaning supplies, animal food/treats/supplies, gift certificates, and of course cash/checks! All donations are greatly appreciated and can be dropped off at the shelter during business hours. If you or someone you know is thinking of bringing an animal in, either a stray or give-up please note that you must first call and make an appointment. No drop-offs can be accepted without an appointment. This is to keep our #;s down so that we do not get so over-crowded that we have to euthanize animals. We do everything we can to keep our animals as long as possible so that they can find a home. No-one, especially our animal loving employees wants to euthanize due to space constraints. Please help us by making an appointment before dropping off an animal. Thank you
