Lobo urgently needs a foster home. See below for his background (Though we forwarded Ingrid's plea, nobody showed interest in saving him, but we could not bare to let him die, so we bailed him out).
Initially shy and nervous when he was first rescued, he sat in a kennel for a long time due to a shortage of foster homes. He became extremely depressed and was quickly going downhill until he found a wonderful foster home where he was blossoming by the day!Sadly, his foster home is now gone because she is out of town for a long period of time. If Lobo goes back in a kennel again, it will be a death sentence he will not survive there. He's a wonderful dog still a little people shy but gets along beautifully with cats and dogs.
Please help us help him! If you can foster Lobo, please call Christine at 310/259-5308. If the only option is a kennel, if anyone can find us a deal at a Doggie Day Care ($10/dog per day or the like) that could be a big help as well. For the record, again, he gets along beautifully with other dogs.

He's posted as Shep/Akita, but he seems to be Shep/BC or Shep/Aussie. He's scared and depressed now (what a surprise! ARGH...). He apparently tried to snap when they gave him shots at the pound, but that doesn't mean much knowing what they go through there.
His name is Lobo, but Ingrid brought him in as a stray, so that he wouldn't be the first to be killed. She said that if someone decide to help, she'll pay for the bail and transport him. Please contact her directly, as this is an out-going only account set up solely for networking.
Given limited resources, she has tried the best she could, so don't give her a hard time about taking him to the pound. She at least intercepted him from being taken to Carson as an owner-turn-in.
Thank you,
Marie

Subject: German Shepherd Mix in Danger
Hello!
I took a handsome German Shepherd Mix to the West LA Shelter on Saturday.
The owners were moving and wanted to take the dog to Carson Shelter.
I can't take the dog because I already have a PitBull and 3 cats in
apartment where I'm not supposed to have any pets.
Is there any way you could look at him and maybe bail him out (I will pay
for it.)?
His impound # is A646314, he is gonna be available on 05/27/04.
Thank you so much.
Ingrid Hurel
