Immediate help is needed to attempt to locate a lost Great
Pyrenees female (newly rescued, unspayed as yet, heartworm
positive) who escaped
from her temporary foster home just north of Yazoo City, Mississippi some time between Thursday
8/5 and Friday 8/6. She is an accomplished escape artist,
with a STRONG homing sense, and is probably traveling south
toward Flora,
Mississippi. If she is moving in that direction, it would take her down in the vicinity of State Highway 49.
(See link below) She started on the east side of
the Yazoo River and may have already crossed, but might still be east of
the
river. PLEASE alert anyone in the area that you think might be able to help keep an eye out for her.
This the dog I was asking for help with a while back.
I will provide more details when I get them tomorrow, but please crosspost and I
would appreciate any suggestions as to people to contact.

Hi All,
Several days ago we sent out an e-mail about a brindle Greyhound
spotted walking on the 528 ramp. She was wearing a red collar.
I responded to a LOST DOG ad in the "Sentinel" yesterday. This is
the same dog. She lives in Southport off of Mc Coy, near the old Navy
Base, and she got out of the broken fenced yard after Charlie. She has been
missing for two weeks. The owner's mother said she has a rabies tag, an ID tag
with her name (instead of the owner's) and phone number, and she is microchipped.
She is 16 years old, and she is named BLUEBERRY. She also responds to MUFFIN.
The owner is Michelle Schoembs 407-859-9255

I hope she will be found, although hope is dim at this point.
