The lady that adopted this adorable 1-year old Beagle mix pup just didn't understand pups.

When he dug in the yard just enough to scoot out under the fence hoping for new territory to explore, she decided the pound was a better place for him.

He doesn't stand a chance.

He's a mix and mixed breeds are too plentiful. The shelter is full and there aren't enough opportunities for him to be seen by potential adopters. Instead, he will die soon unless someone finds it in their heart to take him into and give him an opportunity to show what a great pup he can be.

Memphis is anxious to please, loving and friendly -- a real 'people' dog. His small stature and adorable personality would make him a great house dog.
