MOZART

Janice:
I'm not sure what Lisa told you about Mozart, but
I'll fill you more in. He is approx. 4 years old. He is neutered and is
current on all his vaccines. He is housebroken. He was found in a park and we
rescued him a little over a year ago. He is a very handsome purebred! It is
our belief that he was a hunting dog who was abused (BB's in his side). Since,
we've been socializing him. Overall, we feel he is extremely sensitive and will
learn quickly. Mozart needs someone who needs him.
Mozart also has a problem. He is very afraid --
especially of men. Out of this extreme fear, he has bitten. We have consulted
a behaviorist (Karen Arnoff - Dog Owner Connection) who, along with us, are in
agreement that Mozart is able to be rehabilitated. However, this will take lots
of time and love. His condition is very predictable and preventable.
Our family is in process of an adoption and we are
also homeshcoolers. The time we have is unfortunately not able to be focused on
Mozart. We don't have the time/resources to give him what he needs. However,
we are of the belief that putting him down is a dis-service. He is too good of
a dog!
Do you think you can help?? We desperately need
Mozart to be placed in a foster or permanent home!! Please let us know your
thoughts.
Thanks,
Jeff Shupe
