Trained for the deaf and this woman needs to re-home her chow....in Orange County, CA

Mr.-Bear-Morrow-Malone (Owner is deaf/he is proficient in American Sign Language commands and alerts me when my baby cries) Dog is Neutered: Fixed Dog's Color/Markings: Soft red coat, beautiful mane, and teddy bear like face. Dog's Relative Weight: Medium Dog's Literal Weight: 21-49 lbs.

Information:

Mr. Bear is a wonderful Chow. He is the most loving, gentle, and has the sweetest disposition of any chow I have ever owned and of any dog for that matter.

Unfortunately, my newborn baby and I both have the E.coli virus and are very ill and, I no longer have the strength, or energy to give him all the attention he deserves.

Mr. Bear is housetrained and would do best in an apartment or condo. He loves back yards, but it must be an enclosed yard as he loves to investigate the neighborhood. He is excellent with and very protective of children. He loves and does great with other dogs, but I have yet to see how he is with cats. I have owned Mr. Bear for 3 years and I am deeply reluctant to let my baby go since I am deaf and he is proficient in American Sign Language commands and alerts me when my baby cries or when strangers approach my door.  He is already trained with the basic obedience (sit, roll over, lay down, and shake hands). His favorite things are, car rides, going on walks, giving hugs, and most of all cuddling with people (strangers included). And he loves to lay on my lap at night). He does great around company and strangers and doesn't jump on furniture. Although he is "stranger friendly", he is still an awesome guard dog if someone approaches the door. If you are looking for a full breed Chow with a wonderful personality and temperament, please consider giving Mr. Bear a home. You couldn't find a more loyal and LOVING pet than him.
