Peggy is
a pretty shepherd mix, only seven months old, with a winning personality, gets
along great with people and with other dogs. She's so sweet and loving, it's a
shame she's spent so much of her short life stuck in a cage. Peggy is at the
Marion County Humane Society in Fairmont, WV, but she's ready to move out right
now into a home of her own.
This small rural shelter has a lot more animals than they were ever designed to
handle. They need help, and they need it now. This is a high kill facility
that destroys animals in a gas chamber when their time is up. Big dogs like
