Pekes and Pals of Ft. Myers in need of assistance

Peggy has been the person who will always take in the Pekes and
Peke Pals when no one has room.  She has been hit really hard.
she was right in the path of destruction with H. Charley and
then H. Frances came along and dumped tons of water everywhere.

Hi Janet
Well, I found out yesterday that State Farm will not give me anything
for my insurance coverage!
They depreciated everything I have damage to, and the deductable is
9000$.....so I will have to find a way to get the repairs to the
roof, pool enclosure and well on my own.
I am trying to get ready for Ivan, and Pray that we do not get more
damage.
Due to having so many little rescues, I will hunker down and tough it
out here. I have cleared my closet so we will all retreat there if
needed.
I am trying to lay in supplies daily. Electricity has been restored
for a few weeks, but do not know what Ivan will do. I have a small
generator, but gas is hard to find.
I am grateful for the donations everyone sent and I am using that
money to get in supplies of water, food, and gas for the generator. I
keep 1 weeks supply of dog(80#) and cat food (20#) in stock for the
hurricanes. I am restocking water.
Thank you for caring..
Peggy
