Here are a few photos
of the  5 pups who were
dumped near Fremont, Ohio
beside a corn field today,
Monday, August 16th.

I received a call from a woman on a motorcycle
who saw the car ahead of her throw the puppies out.
A farm house nearby held onto them
until we could arrive to pick them up.

Otherwise, they were going to take them to the pound.

S.P.A. is very low on funds
(sorry to keep singing the same song),
and we really didn't have the money
to vet and board them
BUT WE COULDN'T LET THEM BE TAKEN TO THE POUND!
Yet this is exactly why we are low on funds...
How do you say no to faces like these???

Melissa, an SPA member and I rushed them to the vet's
where they received shots, were wormed, and de-ticked.
They were FULL OF TICKS! BIG TICKS... YUCK and fleas!
They then received puppy Revolution.

Vet above clips little black pups nails.
Plastic bag in front is full of ticks.

A very good friend of ours is willing to pay for their boarding
for a few days while they are at the vets.
Now they are comfortable, safe and sound.

Can you imagine
the sort of person who could
dump these sweet little pups?
Oh... how I'd love to get a hold of them!

There is one really large white pup,
a male, who is almost twice as big
as the others and looks pure lab.
(shown in the middle in the back in the above photo).

The other white pup
(shown in back with head partially hidden)
also looks very much lab.

The white pup in the front (female) looks like a lab mix,
and looks very much like the all black puppy (also a female).

The black and white puppy is a male,
and is absolutely adorable
(as if they all aren't adorable!)

Another very good friend
who has a wonderful boarding/training  facility
has offered to foster them until we find homes.

If she is still willing, I think I may be driving the pups
there in a day or two and we will then
proceed to offer them for adoption.

We want to make certain they go to loving, responsible homes.
