In Inwood, West Virginia 8 dogs await their fate.  These fully vetted, adoptable dogs are healthy, and eager to find their human forever family.  For now, they would be happy with a foster home, a rescue, or even a kennel.  Because in less than 24 hours, a court order will be executed to seize them and put them to sleep. For no fault of their own, they are going to the Bridge, but they have no owner to wait for.

 

Humans promised them a Second Chance.  Now, this is their LAST CHANCE

Minnie  (HIGHLY ADOPTABLE)

American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Size: Medium Age: Adult Sex: Female
Notes:

Minnie is 2 yrs old. Needs Revolution twice a month. Currently recovering from mange. Good Temperament. Very sweet girl! Crate trained, playful, bonds easily. Excellent with kids, good with other dogs. Not sure about cats. Her fur is coming back and she will be a beautiful girl!

 

 

 

COLLIER (HIGHLY ADOPTABLE) Tentatively Spoken For TRANSPORT IS NEEDED FOR SUCCESS

Notes: Collier is a collie mix neutered male about 1 yr old. He weights about 60 lb. and is very affectionate. He is crate trained, good with other dogs, kids and cats. He is a little timid, but has a lot of potential. Very sweet mannered dog. Collier's picture doesn't do him justice.

Doberman Pinscher Mix  Adult Female
Notes: Lucie is a 3 yr old spayed female. Very well behaved. Bonds readily, very protective. Good with other dogs. No cats.

Mr. Lee  (HIGHLY ADOPTABLE , NO CATS)

Notes: Mr. Lee is 5 yrs old. Housetrained. No cats. Excellent with kids, listens well. 

DEAMO  (HIGHLY ADOPTABLE)

American Staffordshire Terrier Size: Large Age: Adult Sex: Male
Notes: Deamo is 2 yrs old and weights 70 lbs. He is a neutered male. He is house trained, excellent with kids, very affectionate and gives great kisses. Loves to go for car rides. Definitely a people dog. He has lived at the Rescue since he was a pup.  He is socialized only with the dogs at the rescue and does very well with them. However additional socializing would be needed in his introduction with other dogs. He is housetrained and lives in the house with Mara. 

 

Luther

Pointer Size: Large Age: Adult Sex: Male
Notes: Luther is a 2 year old Pointer. He is a neutered male and weighs about 80 lbs. He is a very scared/timid dog and will take time to come around. He comes into the house on his own and crates himself. Loud noises scare him, objects like brooms and sticks make him cower. He can be very affectionate and with time & a caring family will make a wonderful companion. Gets along/socializes well with other dogs at the rescue, would required additional socializing training when introducing him with other dogs.

 

Sammy

Labrador Retriever,Shepherd Mix Size: Medium Age: Young Sex: Male
Notes: Sammy is a very handsome blonde lab/shepherd x neutered male. He is 1 yr. old and weighs about 50 lbs. He is crate trained and possibly house trained. He loves kids and require socialization training when introduced with other dogs.

 

 

WILLIE SPOKEN FOR AND LEAVING FOR PA RESCUE TOMORROW

Notes: Willie is a 10 mo old. Terrier/Schnauzer x, neutered male. He was adopted from us as a 2 mo old pup and due to a divorce is back at the Rescue. He lived with and loves children. Good with other dogs. Willie is very frightened, because he has lost the only family he has known. Once he realizes that he has a new family to love him, he will be just fine.

Shepherd,Hound Mix Size: Medium Age: Adult Sex: Male
Notes: Gyro is a 2 yrs. German Shepherd/Hound x neutered male. He weighs about 50 lbs, is house trained. He is very well behaved, listens to basic commands and can be very energetic. HE LOVES KIDS and is well behaved and affectionate. He does not like cats and would require additional socializing training when introducing him with other dogs.

 

Gypsy

Shepherd,Husky Mix Size: Large Age: Adult Sex: Female
Notes: Gypsy is a 65 lbs.2 yr old spayed female. She is a shepherd/husky. She is crate trained, housetrained and eager to please. She has been abused and needs a gentle, but firm master.  No farm animals, she will chase them as.
