STITCH

Loosing his home this weekend, December 11, 2004
Stitch is a 2 year old
AKC yellow lab that is actually mostly white,
currently living in west Kentucky. Through no fault of his own, Stitch
has become a "pass around dog" and is facing having no home after this
coming weekend, December 11, 2004.
We do not have foster room for this dog and are hoping that a reputable
rescue can take him into their program. From my phone conversations
this morning with Amy, his current custodian, he sounds like a
delightful, omega personality, Lab that wants nothing more that to have a family
to love. He is facing going to a local shelter this weekend when his
current family moves into their new house.
The following note is from Amy.
"Stitch is great with kids, strangers and everyone else! He loves
attention and being loved. He is house trained and great with other pets
including cats. We inherited this dog from a family member who was
moving and just needed us to watch him, and now she is unable to take him
back. We are also moving and have to find a suitable home for this
great dog. His only fault is being upset when left alone."
Stitch is not destructive, just cries for a few minutes when he is
crated when the family leaves. He needs a loving home where he can love
and be loved. We do not want to see him taken to the local shelter where
he may or may not be adopted...

"A hundred years from now, it will not matter the sort of house I lived
in, what my bank account was, or the car I drove....but the world may
be different because I was important in the life of the animals and the
creatures on this earth."
