I am making one last appeal for the dogs and puppies at Vermilion Parish Animal Control (Kaplan, LA).  These dogs are very sweet and adoptable.
I know the $55 is steep but you are reimbursed $35 for males and $55 for females upon receipt of proof of spay.  So it is not a complete loss.

Please take a look at them at my picture trail album linked below.

I can try to arrange for foster and have any adult spayed while here before transport.
I will throw in the shots as an incentive.  I can also coordinate transport where possible.
So please don't let distance stop you from trying to help one of these dogs.

I am listing below the dogs that are there, but please look at their faces too.

1 grey wire haired type female and her 3 puppies (10 to 12 pound)

1 blonde wire haired type female (10 to 12 pounds

1 pure basset hound female

1 registered male dal

3 schnauzer/chi mix puppies (8 weeks old)

1 female chi mix (6 to 7 pounds)

In memory of Katie, my beloved boxer of 13 years; Jack, my little lost boy and Bebe, who fought the gallant fight but lost.  Forever in my heart.  I will see you again at the bridge.

They are our friends...partners...
Protectors...ever-loyal...all-forgiving...
To their hearts' last beat...
The least we owe them is to live a life
that is worthy of their devotion
