Hi,
I'm very Westside German Shepherd Rescue in Los Angeles. I had to go
to the East Valley shelter several times to bail out German Shepherds. Vido
was always at the gate trying to make friends, it broke my heart to see him
trying so hard. One other volunteer offered to pay the bail-out fee which is
between $55 and $95 and I offered a hundred to help. The problem here is
resources. All of the people on the email are all trying to save dogs but
finances are a big issue. Boarding for us ranges between $10 and $15 which
is with a big discount, it adds up very quickly. Our boarding and vet billls
were $15,000 last month. You can see our site www.sheprescue.org I know
the people who rescued Vido need help too. The more money all of us have the
more dogs we can rescue.
Thanks for caring. There are so many good rescue stories we all could
tell you. Thanks, Robin

RESCUE NOTES:
Hi,
This is the email I got about Vido.
Hi Marie, my sister Marie's email is marievarricchio@yahoo.com. I met
Vito on my way home from work and he's a great dog. Fell in love with him.
He was using the dog door,
very well mannered in the house, extremely alert, smart and not hyper.
Gorgeous boy. Sadly Marie had to drive her two other rescues to a friend out
in the valley cause they
were really being aggressive to Vito. Her friend is going to keep her dogs
tonight and tomorrow and Marie really wanted to keep Vito safe tonight, but
it doesn't look like
the foster will work. I have calls out to see if we can get him situated
with another foster by tomorrow. Marie is very sad cause she wanted it to
work, but she's at work all day and doesn't
have a way to keep them seperated. She afraid of a blood bath. He should be
an easy place. He's medium size and underweight right now. He reminds me a
bit of Valentino.
If there is anyone who can foster please holler. I am going to work on a
couple I know who live in Thousand Oaks and who may be ready to adopt. I
think he's there kind of dog.

Vido is only 18-24 months old, and about to be killed! He's a beautiful Shep mix (Belgian?). The photo doesn't do him justice at all.  I will bail him out if someone can rescue this sweet boy.  Please help me save this precious life!

He is very handsome in real life. More important, he is extremely lovable and playful loves to give kisses and run and play ball on the grass. This poor boy has been locked up since July 10. I do not know why he has not been adopted. We have groomed him and send him on mobile but no one wanted him. I have spent time and played w/him and he is a real treasure. He is in a run with other dogs and seems to get along with all his animal buddies that have come and gone as he has been left behind.

The shelter called me today about his fate because they are crowded. They promised me that they can only hold on to him for a short while longer. So I promised I would send out a plea for him. He is young and full of love and energy and deserves a chance at freedom. I will bail him out if someone can rescue this sweet boy. Contact the E Valley Shelter www.laanimalservices.com <http://www.laanimalservices.com/>  or Pnina @ 818 399-2495 or e-mail.

Vido's impound # 322862 (listed as Akita but is not).
East Valley Shelter

Thank you!!!

Pnina

Vido is such a special dog. He is so personable and out going. He tries so hard to make a connection with whomever walks by. Westside German Shepherd Rescue would add $100 to the person who helps him plus Pnina is paying the bail out. Thank you, Robin
