The Clay Center Animal Shelter (Kansas) needs HELP ASAP. Someone brought
him 9 Chocolate Lab puppies, under 2 weeks young ( they do not have their eyes
open yet) and said mom died, here you go.
Then he also got 11 other puppies that are 2-3 weeks young that the owner was
going to kill. He can not bottle feed 20 puppies and they do not stand a chance,
not to mention the cost of puppy milk. If anybody can take just a few puppies to
bottle feed or if there are any momma dogs that could take some please contact
Slim Graves at 785-630-0012.

NASRN is in need of a
volunteer that would be willing to help coordinate transports for our rescue
dogs that are going to out of area foster or adoptive homes. Many of our
adoptions are "long distance" and require a transport of a one or two day drive.
Our transport coordinators map out the route, then send out requests to drivers
and rescue groups/lists, in search of volunteer drivers to fill the run.
The job entails both computer and phone time. Good organizational and
communication skills are required.
We just lost one of our Transport Coordinators due to an injury and our current
two Transport Coordinators are overloaded. We dont want to lose an adoption b/c
we can't make the transport.
If anyone is interested in more information, please contact me off list at
resqranger1@juno.com
Thanks :-)
