WESTMORELAND WV ANIMAL SHELTER

LOTS of hounds...I just rescued one from there last week and he is SO
sweet...these poor hounds really deserve another chance. Some of them are
older, one around 8 years and others upwards of 5 and 6 years. Please take a
look...the shelter was really nice to work with. God Bless, Amy in NJ

Adopting a Homeless Dog from the Shelter
We update our Pet List throughout the week so
please
check back regularly! As a public pound, the
adoption
process is quite simple: you pay a $20 fee, and
sign
a
legal contract commiting to having the dog
sterilized
within 30 days (or face a $250 fine plus
confiscation
of the animal). Please call the shelter directly
(804-493-0869) and leave a message on the machine
if
you are interested in learning more about or
definitely want to adopt a dog or puppy on the
Website. The volunteer who responds to e-mail
queries
is not at the shelter, does not make adoption
decisions, and does not have up-to-the-minute
information on which dogs are available and which
have
been adopted.
