[CCDRList] OT -- Yorkshire terrier, Somerville MA.

If you're aware of anyone involved in yorkie rescue in greater Boston, please let me know.  There's an index card on my vet's bulletin board advertising a 2 year-old female Yorkie --
"free to a good home" -- yikes!

I've sent a couple of emails to national terrier rescue groups but if you know anyone your help would be appreciated.  Email me at: jenna.cronin @ us.kema.com (2 spaces removed).

ABANDONED YORKIE: PASAIC, NEW JERSEY

Scooby is an adorable older male yorkshire terrier.  Someone left this poor little Yorkie t tied outside the shelter. I can't see why. He's such a good  little guy. Scooby is very sweet and calm. He loves to go for walks and sleep in  his bed. The shelter's vet recently checked Scooby and found that he has a  tumor which might require some care in the future. Please don't let that you  discourage you from adopting him though. He's such a great little dog, and he  really deserves that second chance. Come and see!!  Scooby is one of many dogs and cats in Passaic, NJ who needs a good home.  Please, check out their website to see the entire pet list:

http://www.petfinder.org/shelters/NJ36.html Or better still, please visit the shelter in person.   The Passaic Animal Shelter is located on the corner on Main Ave. and Brook  Ave. in Passaic, NJ at 13 Benson Avenue. 973-365-5669.  Scooby's shelter ID is  D211.

For more information on any of the deserving pets in Passaic,  contact

Correspondents, writers, photo-graphers, liaisons, advocates and MORE Needed!

There are a myriad of positions available for many different agencies throughout the U.S. There is a great need for shelter workers and volunteers, liaisons, political activists, campaigners, publicists and press people, photographers, correspondents and, yes, transporters!

Most of these positions are not, in and of themselves, demanding. Of course, if you care about animals they can become very time consuming efforts, indeed, and we appreciate the vast and varied talents of those who are doing this work -- many out of the kindness of their hearts.

If you are interested in volunteering for this effort or others, we invite you to write us and let us know what you'd like to do, how often and how you like to work. We're sure to be able to find a match for you!

We thank God for each and every one of you who care enough to confront almost insurmountable odds to do everything you can to change this travesty in our world, often facing your own  humanity to do so, and putting your own emotions on the line to care for the voiceless among us: GODSPEED to each and every one...
